THE NEW TEXTILE PROJECT TO CONTRIBUTE ON THE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER IN THE TEXTILE SECTOR

The kick-off meeting of TEXSTRA project was held on November 17th in Bucharest (Romania), at coordinator facilities, the Romanian Institute of Leather and Textile (INCDTP).

The project started on September 1st 2017, has a duration of 30 months until February 2020 and a total budget of 255.112 €. It is co-funded by the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ Programme with Agreement n. 2017-1-RO01-KA203-037289.

The main goals of TEXSTRA are to promote research and innovation using e-learning tools for students and professionals, to promote the application of good practices for improvement and to generate knowledge, skills and competences using virtual environments. The project will develop a state of the art review, an online training program, a platform for virtual traineeship and competitions, a book of lectures for a summer training course and a project handbook of good practices. The TEXSTRA members will also organize a several seminars and workshops across Europe to maximize dissemination of the project results and to promote the values of the project.
