TEXSTRA team is pleased to announce the release of the 5th newsletter. The goals of those communications are to present the project outcomes and progress, latest news on ongoing activities and major dissemination and communication events.

UMINHO organized a successful summer school from July 15th to 19th with the participation of 23 students coming from Lithuania, Greece, Romania and Portugal.

On June 17th 2019, Material ConneXion Italia organised the 3rd TEXSTRA multiplier event (E3), inviting stakeholders from the T&C sector to attend a short seminar where different speakers provided their expertise on innovations for the Textile industry.

The TEXSTRA team announces the publication of the manual for the TEXSTRA virtual platform where the virtual internships will take place.

The TEXSTRA team is pleased to announce the publication of Textile Strategy for Innovative Higher Education e-book, which contains four main blocks of resources: advanced textile materials, advanced manufacturing methods, circular economy and sustainability, and e-commerce.  Translations are in process and will be available shortly.

CRE.THI.DEV. presented the TEXSTRA project to SEPEE (Business Association of Knitting and Ready-Made-Garments Enterprises of Greece) during a Creative Wear (Interreg Med project) meeting.  

CRE.THI.DEV. presented the TEXSTRA project and distributed leaflets and information during the yearly event: FASHION FORWARD – CONNECTING PATTERNS FOR SUSTAINABILITY – TCBL. This is a yearly event to find out how the textiles and clothing sector is responding to major changes.

AEI Tèxtils participated in the Techtextil 2019  and distributed leaflets of the TEXSTRA project among participants and international contacts.
