The TEXSTRA Team is pleased to announce the publication of the “Need analysis and state of the art report: transferring research and innovation in the textile & clothing manufacturing sector“.

This report contains the results obtained from the field research implemented by all partner countries, targeting three groups from the T&C sector: managers and professionals, experts and aspiring managers. The research is based on specific questionnaires.

The results were collected from all partners. All questionnaires were processed according to methodology, using SPSS v17. The results for each target group were interpreted and discussed. When significant, comparisons were made between the positions of the 3 groups of respondents.

Based on these results and discussions, conclusions were drawn. Recommendations were made in reference to the perceived need and importance of knowledge/skills related to research and innovation in the T&C sector, identifying the ones considered by the respondents as the most relevant.
