Second TEXSTRA newsletter available!
TEXSTRA released its 2nd newsletter with the aim to present the project and its progress. Latest news on developed and ongoing activities are also presented to inform about the current status of the project.
Major highlights from this issue include the publication of the “Need analysis and state of the art report“, the invitation to the first multiplier event the team will organize in Lithuania next October, relevant news from the project including the second project meeting held in Terrassa as well as the main communication channels and activities performed during the last semester.
A consortium of ten partners from seven European countries, combining leading expertise in the textile field; textile research and training; innovative teaching and learning methods, have joined in the project titled “Textile Strategy for Innovative Higher Education (TEXSTRA)”. TEXSTRA is a Strategic Partnership for Higher Education, co-funded by the European Commission, under the Erasmus+ programme.
The main goals of TEXSTRA are to promote research and innovation using e-learning tools for students and professionals, to promote the application of good practices for improvement and to generate knowledge, skills and competences using virtual environments. The project will develop a state of the art review, an online training program, a platform for virtual traineeship and competitions, a book of lectures for a summer training course and a project handbook of good practices. The TEXSTRA members will also organize several seminars and workshops across Europe to maximize the dissemination of the project results and to promote the values of the project.
